MY APPROACH 

When it comes to health and wellness, I use the primal health approach. You can find more detail on this approach below. 

What is Primal Health?

When it comes to primal health, the focus is getting back to how our ancestors lived. Now, does that mean we need to hunt and scavenge for our food and sleep outside? It could, but we don’t have to go that far. Primal health is really about getting back to basics with a modern spin.

Now, what are those basics? It’s broken down into three areas which I like to call The Body of Complete Health: diet/nutrition (the backbone), mental/emotional well-being (the brain), and movement (musculoskeletal and circulatory systems). Each of those three areas can be broken down into even more detail.

Most of us barely get through each day. We have to pull ourselves out of bed and stumble over to the coffee machine before we can even function. Even once we have pumped ourselves full of caffeine, it still takes a lot of work to get yourself and your kids out the door, get through that long day at work, just to come home, make dinner, help with homework, and then make it to bed barely before midnight. And then you get to do that all over again the next day! Ugh! Who wants to keep going like that??

 

But imagine what it would be like to be able to WANT to jump out of bed and hit the ground running with endless energy! To not HAVE to depend on that cup (or two or three) of coffee, and only drink it because you ENJOY it, to NOT have that 2pm slump and reach for the candy bar and caffeine, and to get sleepy when the sun goes down, and then experience deep and restful sleep, that is what primal health can do for you.
